Glitterature: Maze Runner

So I've been on this kick for dystopian novels as of late. Most deal with children of some age, corrupt government, crazy beliefs, and  odd societal classes.

This is slightly different so far, but we'll see where this leads after the next book. (Which I'm reading yet, but plan to pick it up soon.) Just like last time I won't give anything away unless I put a ***SPOILER ALERT*** tag up so you won't see anything you don't want to.

Basically this is a story about a group of boys that wake up and find themselves in a strange new place called the Glade. They believe that if they figure out the maze they will be able to go, only problem is they have no memory of their life before entering the maze.

The group has divided up themselves in job categories:

Runners- who try to figure out the maze
Track-hoe- those who work in the gardens- tilling, weeding, planting and such
Blood housers- our slaughter house
Builders- pretty self explanatory
Sloppers- janitorial services pretty much
Baggers- who take care of dead bodies
Cooks- again, pretty self explanatory
Mapmakers- read above :)
Med-Jacks- doctors, nurses, healthcare

I would definitely pick up this book, but be prepared to want to the second one right after. It ends with a little cliff hanger.
If you don't like series, this isn't the book for you. There are currently FOUR in this series, but start with this book and not the prequel!
